At Robert's Port Hotel, the sporting tradition is an integral part of our brand and the winter season is a time when the Hotel's football team participates in many tournaments and sporting events in Poland and abroad. It is now, during the cold days when the temperature drops, that football emotions and rivalries flourish on the indoor pitches, creating a unique atmosphere that brings together players, fans and the entire local community.
Our football team is more than just a group of talented players - it is a symbol of togetherness, fighting spirit and a relentless desire to challenge both nationally and internationally. We regularly participate in tournaments, both in our region and abroad, where we proudly represent Robert's Port Hotel, showing that passion for sport knows no boundaries. Every match is a new lesson for us, a new experience and another step towards excellence, which motivates us to keep growing.
International Senior Tournament in Vilnius
On Saturday, 15 February, our players travelled to Vilnius to compete in the prestigious 17th International Senior Tournament (35+). The tournament, which attracted as many as 40 teams from Lithuania, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Norway and Armenia, provided a great opportunity for the hotel team to showcase its full potential.
In the group stage, played in matches of 30 minutes each, our players achieved spectacular victories - 4:1, 7:1, 6:0, 5:0.
These results confirmed that our team is not afraid of any opponent. With each game we got closer to the final, where unfortunately we had to acknowledge the superiority of the tournament hosts, thus winning a well-deserved second place.
Olecko Cup 2025 - New challenges in the indoor arena
The next day, Sunday 16 February, the hotel team faced another challenge, participating in the Olecko Cup 2025 indoor tournament in Olecko. In a competition that featured 14 teams, our players showed that they can also compete on indoor floors, finishing the tournament in fourth place.
Although the tournament in Olecko did not result in a medal, participation was an invaluable experience for us. Every meeting, every minute spent on the court, strengthens the team spirit and motivates us to work even harder and develop further.
The Robert's Port Hotel team is not just one exceptional tournament team, but a regular participant in both regional and international competitions. Our passion for football and commitment to sporting development sees us take on new challenges with each season, through which we continually improve our skills.
For several years now, we have proudly represented our hotel in numerous tournaments, which allows us not only to integrate the team, but also to build sporting relationships with teams from different corners of Europe. Participation in such events is not only a source of sporting excitement for us, but also a source of valuable experience that translates into better results in subsequent tournaments.
