The Robert’s Port is a four star facility, located at the picturesque Tałty Lake, in the town called Stare Sady, 5 km away from Mikołajki. The history of this place dates back to 2004, yet actually, the whole adventure began in the 80s when Robert Śliwiński’s mum opened a guesthouse called Golden Gate (Złote Wrota) which was a prototype of sorts for the present hotel. The interiors design is purely Masurian with characteristic sailing elements.
All around the hotel, there are forests, there’s greenery, with not even the slightest memory of the hustle and bustle of big city life. Stare Sady town suits relaxation and activity in the open air, indeed.
The apple of the hotel owner, Mr. Robert Śliwiński, is the fleet of passenger and ship .
Mr. Śliwiński, as the captain of inland navigation, has been on the Great Masurian Lakes Trail since the 1980s. Like it's hard for him to get out of the helm, although daily running of the hotel makes appear less and less there. The owner, buying the first passenger ship in the eighties of the previous century, wanted to infect tourists with love for lakes and the Masurian landscape, which he has been doing continuously for over 30 years.
In the fleet of the Robert's Port there are 4 passenger ships, which will take a total of 568 passengers on board. The flagship of the fleet is K. I. Gałczyński, who can hold up to 250 passengers
