Barciany, 25 November 2023. - In a thrilling semi-final tournament of the Provincial Polish Futsal Cup, the Robert's Port Hotel team not only proved their class, but also dominated the floor, securing their place among the finalists. Saturday in the sports hall in Barciany became an arena of sporting struggle, where five teams fought for the prestigious title, and Robert's Port Hotel decisively won the tournament.
The team, which entered the 2023/2024 season with high ambitions, showed remarkable skill and determination on the court. Over the course of the day, the hotel team played a total of four matches, and the Robert's Port Hotel players gave no chance to their opponents, winning every game.
The first match of the tournament, although evenly matched at the start, ended in victory for Robert's Port Hotel. Subsequent matches were a confirmation of good futsal - dynamic attacks, precise passing and defensive efficiency. Every player contributed, creating a cohesive, winning team.
The most exciting moment for fans was the promotion-deciding skirmish in which Robert's Port Hotel faced the team of the 1st Mazurian Artillery Brigade from Węgorzewo. This encounter, full of tension and sporting rivalry, attracted the most spectators, and after an exciting match, the Hotel claimed a confident 6:3 victory.
With 4 wins, Robert's Port Hotel not only gained promotion to the final of the Provincial Polish Cup, but also confirmed their good disposition for the start of the futsal competition in the 2023/2024 season.
The final tournament for the Provincial Polish Cup will take place on 16-17 December. Expectations are high, but looking at the determination and talent of this team, they could be heading for further success on futsal floors.
